Elder Chris Crouse – Are We A Selfish or Selfless People?
The Apostle Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi had little rebuke. It was an encouragement and joy to him, strengthening his journey as he thought on the faithfulness of that body of believers. The Apostle Paul does address an issue at the church however, that two women in conflict with one another should be of one mind and one accord. Here he establishes the importance of selflessness, against man’s nature to be selfish. Elder Chris asks us whether we are selfish or selfless. He teaches that when a contentious view doesn’t conflict with the doctrinal principles of the church, we are to set ourselves aside to build up our church as a whole.
