Elder Chris Crouse – Happy Is That People

Elder Chris begins by reading Psalm 144.  David thanks God and asks Him to bless them in war.  He then sings a song of praise, a song of glory.  In verse 12, David, speaking of the future of his nation, desired that those who are older would teach and instruct those that are younger.  He knew that for a nation to prosper, it was important that the youth mature early.  Elder Chris proclaims that just as David wished this for his nation, we are to wish the very same thing for our church, so we can enjoy prosperous days ahead and shine as a light in our community.  With additional instruction for the older members, the pastor, and the church as a whole, he goes on to say “happy is that people” that are in such a case.
