Elder Chris Crouse – Matthew 24

Elder Chris turns to Matthew 24 where Christ prophecies about the temple. “There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” He then begins to answer three questions from the disciples. “Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Christ’s answers beginning in Matthew 24 are often confused with the second/final coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. But Elder Chris explains that this chapter actually addresses the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD and then shifts to the second coming later in chapter 25. Download Audio File
