Elder Chris Crouse – Our High Priest
In Hebrews, the Apostle Paul contrasts the ministry and priesthood of the Lord Jesus Christ with the Levitical priesthood. Christ does not follow the lineage of Levi, but rather the order of Melchizedek. Elder Chris explains that a priest goes to God on behalf of the people, and a prophet goes to the people on behalf of God. Jesus was both at the same time. He teaches that where the Levitical priesthood of man failed, Jesus is the better hope and our high Priest.
