Elder Chris Crouse – Romans: Paul’s Systematic Theology, Chapter 4, Part 1, Justification By Faith Illustrated

Elder Chris recalls his previous sermon where grace is the means by which we are justified through Christ.  He then explains that justification by faith is where one grabs hold of the truth that we have been justified in the sight of God.  Faith is not the means of eternal salvation, but is vital in giving us the comfort that we are saved to Heaven.  The Apostle Paul illustrates that Abraham’s promise was not contingent on his works but was given before he was circumcised, and justification by faith is simply relying on the knowledge of what God has done for us.
