Elder Chris Crouse – Romans: Paul’s Systematic Theology, Chapter 9, Part 2, God Has Right To Do As He Pleases

Elder Chris points out that God has the right to show mercy and compassion to whom He will and we do not have a right to question how He does this or who He shows it to.  Paul asks who has resisted His will?  Does the potter not have power over the clay?  Can the clay ask the potter why he made it?  Paul’s point is that God has the power to create, to show compassion and to remove His presence from individuals as he pleases.
