Elder Chris Crouse – The Rock That Is Higher Than I

Elder Chris begins by giving the backstory of David’s journeys before David writes Psalm 61:2:  “From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”  David cries to God to understand the trials and afflictions of his life and Elder Chris proclaims that Jesus knows and Jesus cares.  He explains that when our heart is overwhelmed we need someone higher than us and encourages us to always go to the Lord.
