Elder David Crawford – The Magnitude of the Debt

Elder David turns to Matthew where we find Jesus gave a parable concerning a servant that lost ten thousand talents for the king, enough money that could shake a great empire. But he had not taken away the king’s composure. After the servant asked for patience and worshipped him, he was moved with compassion and forgave him the debt. Elder David encourages us to not lose our composure, but focus on the loss that our King incurred on our behalf when he paid our sin debt. It was far greater than any debt owed to us.
