Elder James Allen – What Makes A Church A Church?
Elder James asks what makes a church a church? He points out it’s not the church building. The people are certainly needed and is important, but the people themselves is not what makes it a church. Elder James explains that in 1 Timothy the church is defined as the pillar and ground of the truth. Because the truth is what defines it, it proves the stance that not all baptisms can be converted to the Old Baptist, but rather must be from an ordained minister, who has authority in the true church.
