Elder Mark Quarles – One Thing
Elder Mark begins the 2017 July Meeting with a question. Have you ever been focused on so many things that you forget about the one thing that is most important? He reminds us that of all the promises God has made, he has not failed in one thing. David, instead of focusing on the many things on his plate, sought after the house of the Lord to behold His beauty. Martha was worried about so many things and neglected the one thing that Mary saw. She was beholding the Lord. Elder Mark proclaims that we need to be like Paul who wanted to apprehend Christ and know more and more about Him.
