Matthew Johnson – Comparisons

This is the first part of a three-part service where three brothers speak before the church.  Brother Matthew provides a few thoughts with regards to comparisons that we often find ourselves in from day-to-day.  Whether comparing possessions, appearances, or performance, brother Matt warns that comparisons are the death of contentment, can make us prideful of our own righteousness, and can make us resentful of God’s goodness in our own lives.  Brother Matt then provides several tools to help deal with these sins and ultimately reach a contentment and peace with God.
