Elder Adam Green – My God

Elder Adam preaches from Daniel where king Darius was flattered by his presidents.  They asked him to sign a law restricting any prayer to any God or man other than king Darius.  He liked the sound of that.  But Daniel, who remained faithful, prayed anyway and was caught.  After he was brought to the king, Darius was displeased with himself for signing the decree as he had to cast Daniel into the den.  The king rose early into he morning and called to Daniel to see if his God, who he served continually, had delivered him.  Daniel replied “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me”.  Elder Adam reminds us that Daniel’s God is our God and we should desire to know Him transparently.  The more we pursue Him and study His word, the more we will know our God.
