Elder Chris Crouse – Fifty And Two Days
Elder Chris preaches on Nehemiah 6:15-16 “So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days. And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God.” He reminds us of the difficult times leading up to these verses and points out what a great feat it was to rebuild the heavily fortified walls of Jerusalem in only 52 days. It is amazing what can be accomplished with God’s blessings and a mind to work. He parallels each individual stone in the wall as members in the church and encourages us to put God first in our everyday lives.
