Elder Chris Crouse – Jesus's View Of God's Word

Elder Chris begins with Mark 10 where the Pharisees were tempting Jesus to go against the law of Moses.  They asked if it was lawful for a man to put away his wife.  He explained that while Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, it was not always this way from the beginning.  God created male and female and stated that they are one flesh and should not be separated.  In bringing this up, He shows that He believes in the scriptures of Genesis and the creation.  Elder Chris gives several examples of Jesus acknowledging scripture and shows that He magnifies the Word of God above even His own name as a man’s name is dependent upon his word.
