Elder Doyle Hurst – Symbolisms Of The Crucifixion

Elder Doyle Hurst, from Big Harpeth Primitive Baptist Church in Nashville, TN, concludes the Thursday night service by extending on Christ’s death preached before.  Elder Doyle depicts the subtle actions of the Lord Jesus Christ toward the Jews, giving evidence that he was the messiah, and how the Jews must have felt.  He leaves us with the ultimate symbolism, that while Abraham’s lamb sacrificed for Isaac covered the sins for one, the lamb of God doesn’t just cover our sins, but takes them away.  We can rejoice that we will be in Heaven one sweet day because of what Christ did for us.
