Elder Mike Montgomery – Knowing And Believing

Elder Mike explains that there is a stark difference between knowing and believing.  Believing is actually from the same root as the word love and should be considered as “to hold dear” or “to swear allegiance”.  Often we miss out on the blessings of certain scriptures because we are not in the right mindset when it comes to the word believe (such as John 3:16).  Belief is not just a mental acknowledgement of what is right, but rather committing to what you know.  He encourages us to take seriously the knowledge of Jesus Christ, follow him, and show our allegiance in our daily lives.
