Elder Chris Crouse – Romans: Paul’s Systematic Theology, Chapter 1, Part 1, Introduction

Elder Chris begins a new series looking at Paul’s epistle to the church of Rome.  As Paul writes this letter, he did not know whether he would ever go there, making it unique.  He immediately calls himself a servant (or slave) of Jesus Christ, which is a stark difference from the Saul that had apparent “freedom” yet persecuted so many.  Elder Chris reminds us that we have been bought by Jesus Christ and we should live our life in servitude to Him.  Paul declares he is praying for grace and peace to them from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.  And just as Paul so beautifully lays this introduction out, Elder Chris encourages us to pray for one another and wish these things on each other in the same way.
