Elder Chris Crouse – Romans: Paul’s Systematic Theology, Chapter 8, Part 3, We Know And We Are Persuaded

Paul provides comforting words after having explained what the Spirit does.  The Spirit guides, leads and comforts us in the knowledge that Jesus Christ is coming back at the last day.  And He has shown us over and over through our own experiences and through the Word of God that every promise He has made has come to pass without fail.  Paul then explains that there are things that we know work together for our good and the glory of God:  His foreknowledge and love of us, predestination, calling, justification, and glorification.  And Paul concludes that in knowing these things, we are persuaded that absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.
