Elder Chris Crouse – The New Birth

Jesus explained to Nicodemus that unless a person is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Nicodemus was confused, thinking of being born again in a literal, physical sense. But Jesus was teaching that His children are not only born naturally, but must also be born spiritually. Elder Chris preaches on the sixth article of faith, which states: “We believe that the Holy Spirit effectually calls, regenerates, and sanctifies all the elect of God.” He explains that every aspect of salvation is under God’s power and authority, completely independent of our own works.
