Elder Chris Crouse – The Lord’s Supper & Washing the Saints’ Feet

Continuing his series on the Articles of Faith, Elder Chris considers the Lord’s Supper and the washing of the saints’ feet. For hundreds of years, the ordinance of the Passover was observed as a remembrance of God’s deliverance from bondage, sin, and death. The Lord’s Supper, however, represents a better covenant—one that points to our deliverance through Christ, who fulfilled the law and gave His life for us. When God placed all things into Christ’s hands, He set the ultimate example of service by kneeling to wash His disciples’ feet. It should motivate and constrain us to serve Him and minister to one another.
