Elder Chris Crouse – The Burden to Rebuild

When the house of God was not as it should be, Nehemiah’s heart was broken. Though he was not a builder by trade, he was a devoted leader. He prayed earnestly for the opportunity to lead God’s people in rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls. Elder Chris urges us to set our affections on Heaven and to care deeply about the condition of the Lord’s house. He encourages us to pray daily for the restoration of what is broken and to labor faithfully, relying on God’s help to build up the walls.
