Elder Chris looks in Mark 9 where the Lord Jesus Christ takes Peter, James and John up to a mount where Christ would be transfigured before them. They were blessed to see the glorified Christ as we will see Him when He comes again on the last day. But Peter said to build three tabernacles to Christ, Moses, and Elijah that were present. But Moses and Elijah were not the focus. Later there was a great multitude around the disciples and one in the crowd brought his son for the disciples to cast out a dumb spirit, but they could not help. Jesus said “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.” Jesus is where the person should have gone in the first place. Elder Chris encourages us to always go to the Lord first with our concerns rather than the world.
