Before the world began God knew man would be in a fallen state, but God created us anyway. When Adam knowingly trespassed, a reconciliation was needed by Jesus as our substitute. The Apostle Paul explains that Christ took the place of where we were supposed to be. Christ’s righteousness was then given to us, making us free from eternal punishment.
