In 2 Chronicles, we find words God spake to Solomon. That if the nation would humble themselves, turn to Him and pray, He would heal their land. King Solomon had asked God not for wealth, power, or lack of enemies, but for wisdom to judge God’s great people. After the temple was built, Solomon realized there was a King greater than he and he kneeled, put his hands to toward Heaven and prayed; an act of great humility. Elder Chris encourages the church to humble ourselves just as Christ took on the likeness of man, a servant with no reputation. He humbled Himself in obedience to the Father even unto death on the cross. Rather than seeking ourselves Elder Chris encourages us to seek Him; He will lift us up and heal our land.
