Elder Chris Crouse – Psalm 27

Elder Chris preaches at the Primitive Baptist Easter Fellowship Meeting via Livestream. He turns to Psalm 27. This writing was probably in the early life of David after defeating Goliath and fleeing from Saul. During this time while being alone and he could not be in the temple he writes in verse 4: “One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.” Elder Chris encourages us to desire the house of the God and to behold His beauty during this time. In this time of trouble David writes that “he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.” Elder Chris encourages us not worry, but to be strengthened our hearts in Him, and to wait on the Lord.
