Elder Chris Crouse – Pure Heart, Good Conscience, and Sincere Faith
The Apostle Paul charges Timothy to charge some that they teach no other doctrine at Ephesus which he loved, and not give over to fables and endless genealogies. It is important that the church understand what we believe and why we believe it. Paul recognized this church was in danger of their doctrine being altered, eventually the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and ultimately the church’s identity. He commands to give charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned.
