Elder Joe Holder – Him Who Is Invisible

Elder Joe explains that tension points in God’s word is put in place so we would dig and study.  He examines early attacks on the truth that God is unseeable, unknowable, and unapproachable (called gnosticism).  Elder Joe examines when Moses was hid in the cleft of the rock because he was unable to see God in all His righteousness, while earlier in Exodus he did see God.  He then examines the tension created with these two truths.
