Elder Mark Quarles – The City of God and a Mighty Man of Wealth
Naomi had learned that the Lord had visited the people and gave them bread. Naomi and Ruth returned to the city, Bethlehem or the “house of bread”. They were swarmed with grace and compassion. Elder Mark preaches on how this was a picture of the church and reflects on his personal experience how the city moved about him in love and mercy. Ruth had nothing when she arrived but trusted in God and went to the field of Boaz, a mighty man of wealth who is a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ.
