Elder Michael Gowens – The Most Important Verse in the Bible

While there are many wonderful verses in the Bible, Elder Gowens suggests that the most important verse is Genesis 1:1 – “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” because it is the most attacked.  This sermon provides an analysis behind “intelligent design”, asks the question who is responsible for it, and warns that if this single verse is not true, the entire Bible can then be called into question.  By analyzing God’s perfect and precise creation emerges the beautiful power and sovereignty of our God and reminds us of our very reason for existence.
