Elder Mike Roberts – The Road To Emmaus

Elder Mike Roberts, from New Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Milan, TN, begins the 2012 Florida Fellowship Meeting.  He begins with examining the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ and relates it to today’s terms and turns to Luke 24:13 where two followers of Christ, having just witnessed the death of Christ, began a two-hour walk to Emmaus.  Elder Mike points out that while they communed together on this walk, Jesus drew near with them.  Elder Mike encourages us with a message that while we travel home both this evening and on our travels through life’s pathway, know that there is victory in Jesus, and He is walking along with us.
