Elder Philip Conley – Holdest Thy Peace
God’s providence is found throughout the book of Esther. Mordecai tells Esther her position in the king’s house does not exempt her from the king’s law and if she holds her peace, she would die, but the Jews would be spared. Elder Philip explains that when we hold our peace we will suffer in this world, but the church will go on by the providence of God. He proclaims that it is worth more than any one of ourselves and desires to leave it just a beautiful as when he found it.
