Elder Ronald Lawrence – How Jacob Represents Us
Elder Ronald concludes the 2022 February Meeting by turning to a passage of scripture in Isaiah 43 where the Lord speaks to Jacob who had been dead over one-thousand years. Elder Ronald encourages us to put our name in the place of Jacob when the Lord says “But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.” Elder Ronald teaches that we have many things to learn about our own lives through the life of Jacob, a child of God just like us.
